Bit Late Post: Season starts

So La Liga started last weekend.
Maybe it's a fluke, or maybe just bad luck, but real madrid drew with 2009-10 5th placed mallorca last weekend.
Perhaps it's the change of coach that brought on this dissapointing start to the season. On top of that C. Ronaldo has picked up an injury that sees him unable to play the next portugal qualifying campagne fixtures for the euro qualifiers.
On the same page is Carles Puyol who has just been annouced to be suffering from a calf muscle injury. He too will be out for a few weeks, and what really confuses me is that I had heard after the world cup that he would be retiring from international duty, when here it says he had been injured during a spain training session. Anyway, it seems Barcelona will have to do without him. In truth he seems to be loosing out on a bit of game time even before hand.
Barcelona's start to the season however, was very sucessful as predicted. In fact, the betting odds of a draw for the game was even higher than a loss for barcelona. David Villa scores his first goal in La Liga for Barcelona, but personally i thought andreas iniesta's goal was by far the most impressive, although messi scoring within 3 minutes into the game is somewhat rediculous.
This was also the first game since ibrahimovic's exit.
Speaking of which Ibrah has been going around with claims that Pep Guardiola had "shattered" his dream of barcelona, and that the head coach was the reason he left. He claims that Guardiola had a problem with him and would not talk about it. Whether it's true i don't know, it could all be bullshit, it just all seems a bit dodgy and strange. The club is looking into it.
Following Ibrahimovic's exit, Bojan fills the No. 9 shirt. I would say at the age of 20 he's really accomplished a lot. congrats to bojan.
